Abstract: In this paper, the performance enhancement of one DC-DC boost converter for both charging battery and MPPT control has been demonstrated for nomadic life. The batteries are charged by using three stage method in which the the first stage is replaced by the MPPT func-tion. Therefore, SOC determination method is used which helps the converter charge the battery quickly, safely and properly. The simula-tion is executed by using PSIM software. From the simulation result it can be concluded that the proposed control algorithm has realized the key point to increase efficiency of the PV generation system. The re-sults obtained in this paper are useful in designing a stand-alone PV system in the rural life like Mongolian nomadic herders. In this paper, the authors suggest a new control algorithm for a Three-Phase Four-Wire (3P4W) Photovoltaic (PV) Power Conditioning System (PCS) with unbalance load compensation function by conventional Propor-tional-Integral (PI) controller which is used in industrial and commer-cial PV PCS. A 40 kW building load composed by three single phase loads, and a 3P4W PV PCS are used to verify the control algorithm. The controller is designed in two different rotating frames (60 Hz and 120 Hz) in parallel. The maximum PV power is transferred to the grid and the unbalance power is compensated successfully by the proposed control algorithm. The implementation, development time and cost can be reduced.
