Abstract: Under the COVID-19 pandemic, introducing non-face-to-face medical services are getting more important. However, the priority in the general ward is lower than intensive care unit. Usually, patients in the general ward are more stable than patients in the intensive care unit but there are some exception cases such as disabled or aged patients. We developed a patch sensor that can monitor acceleration, body temperature, heartbeat, and SpO2 in one small device. The accelerator was attached to Bluetooth low energy module channel 0 to be operated for both normal and sleep mode. Thermopile, heartbeat and SpO2 sensors are attached to channel 1 to save power during sleep mode. As the heartbeat sensor shows the significantly different signal patterns at the different detection locations, the heartbeat signal was tested at the fingertip and chest for data quality assurance. The service platform was developed by using Information and Communication Technologies and cloud computing. Data and service server system was developed as well. The server system was tested with the existing patch sensor developed by our research group. DMP-Lifeplus tonometry data acquisition will be connected to the system for further service extension.
